K9 R&R works with local dog rescue groups. We provide that extra time to live and be cared for that they wouldn't have otherwise had. The dogs stay in our care until an ideal adopter becomes available. Currently, we are caring for dogs from Rottweiler Hearts Rescue & private rescuers.

All dogs below are up to date on vaccinations. Foster/adoption application and adoption fee may apply.

Any rescue dog who has been in our care, who returns for boarding services after being adopted, will receive a discount.

*If you are a private rescuer or non-profit rescue group in need of housing,  please contact us for information.*

BOSSY

5 years old, spayed female, approximately 50 lbs. Very sweet girl with a lot of energy. Would love to find a home where she could take long walks or have a fenced in yard to play in. She loves to give hugs and lean on you to show you she loves you. Very food & treat motivated and knows some basic commands. Bossy's ideal adopter would be able to keep up with her energy. Recommended for a home where she is the only dog. Not cat friendly, good with older children.

MOWGLI

2 to 3 years old, neutered male,  about 60 lbs, actively working with trainer, full of happiness and guaranteed to make you smile. He is with a private rescue group. He loves to show off and prance like a horse just to make you laugh. He's highly intelligent and motivated to please. Good with other dogs with proper and slow introduction. Cat friendly with supervision. He LOVES to play ball and is very social and engaging with people. Although he loves to romp and play, he is the perfect cuddle buddy. Good with children above the age of 10 years old.

BALOO

2 years old, soon to be neutered male, approximately 85 lbs. Very laid back, sweet boy. Calm most of the time, loves his belly rubs. Will play outside for a little then just want to lay in your lap. He is very connected with his caretakers and it wouldn't take long to connect with an adopter. Potential adopter must be willing to continue his daily medication as he is prone to seizures. Seizures have been controlled since he's been on medication.

RAMBO

5 years old, soon to be neutered, about 80 lbs. Would do best in a home where the adopter is home most of the time to keep him company as he has slight separation anxiety. House trained. Rambo makes sure his caretakers know he loves them- he's very affectionate. He loves to cuddle and have his belly rubbed. Outdoors, he really enjoys playing fetch. He's very gentle when giving the ball back. Cat friendly with supervision, very dog friendly.

BRANDI

Brandi is a strong willed and independent girl. She is a 4 year old spayed female, weighing 80 lbs. Very intelligent and playful. She needs an experienced dog owner who can keep up with her energy and training. She lives to play with tennis balls, will do anything for a treat, and is a very quick learner. Not dog or cat friendly.

KASH

1 year old, neutered male, approx. 55 lbs. He still has a lot of puppy to grow out of and has a lot of energy. He's always very happy and loves playing outside. Dog friendly with proper introduction. Not cat friendly, good with older children. Very food & treat motivated. In the right hands, he could learn a lot. A little shy at first with a new person but warms up quickly. He has a very silly personality and will amuse you.

Below are the dogs who found great homes!

Thank you to all those who fostered, adopted, sponsored, donated, and opened your hearts and homes to a rescue dog. We love these dogs and are so thrilled that they have families and homes to call their own.
